About the competition

The Polish Scientific Society of Marketing organizes the nationwide competition for the best master's/bachelor's thesis in the field of marketing, commerce and consumption - in the name of Professor Roman Głowacki. The Centre for Management Training Foundation is the competition partner.

Professor Roman Głowacki (1929 - 2020) – founder and long-standing President of the Board of the Centre for Management Training Foundation, established in 1990. Creator of one of the first MBA programs in Central and Eastern Europe. Author of several dozen editions of MBA programs, conducted, among others, with the following partner universities: Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Free University of Brussels, The Ohio State University, University of Warsaw, University of Antwerp. A graduate of the Academy of Commerce in Krakow, the Central School of Planning and Statistics (Warsaw School of Economics) in Warsaw and the Harvard Business School. He has been associated with the University of Warsaw since 1973. Chair of the Marketing Department at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw for many years. Visiting professor at European and American universities. Scientist, author of numerous books, textbooks, and articles published in Poland and abroad, academic lecturer, teacher of many generations of students. Precursor and outstanding marketing expert in Poland.
